However, certain shops, food concessions, on-site accommodations, and public and private transport services may not offer services throughout the day and night. About Dublin Airport’s Terminal

Dublin Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The airport terminals further consist of piers and concourses that provide convenience to passengers and visitors. Long-Term Car Parking

Dublin Airport provides long-term car parking which is one of the safest and the most secure car parks serving both terminal 1 and terminal 2. If you want to park your car then it is recommended to book your space in advance to get your space, especially in the summer season which is the busiest time, people go on their vacations. It consists of different parking spaces that are Express Red, Holiday Blue, Express Green, and Terminal 2 Surface.

Express Red: This is one of the closest car parking to both terminals which has a space of 8000 car parks at a time. Express Red is available 24×7 with full safety and security equipped with cameras and signboards. A shuttle bus service is available 24 hours a day available at every 10 minutes. We recommend booking your space in advance or reaching there with plenty of time at least 30 minutes due to traffic and roadworks.

Holiday Blue Car Park: This is also available to passengers with safety and security having a space of 8000 car parks at a time. A shuttle bus service is also available from this parking every 15 minutes. Here, you can book your space in advance and the price is set on a daily basis and displayed at the entrance.

Terminal 2 Long-term surface car park: This parking is one of the nearest car parking to both terminals with the availability of 270 spaces. Passengers can get their space with advance booking, especially in the summer times. People prefer to park here because they can easily reach the terminal within 3 to 4 minutes of walking distance. But you can park here only for 3 days.

Express Green car park: This parking is seasonal long-term parking that is available at the closest terminals. Express Green parking is having a space of 1000 car parks at a time with the option of online booking of your space. Shuttle bus service is available for the customers every 15 minutes with a 5-minute dropping time. But you should remember one thing, this parking is available only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Price for Long-term parking: The rate for long-term parking changes per day which is displayed at the entrance point of the parking. But on average, you have to pay €15 per day. You can get a discount if you pay online and book your parking space.

Short-term Car Parking

Short-term car parking is available at the Dublin Airport 24×7 for the customers. This car parking is one of the convenient car parks which is available in the nearest proximity to the terminals located just beside terminals 1 and 2. Customers can go easily from the parking to the terminals on their steps. It consists of three parking spaces that are Terminal 1 car park A, Terminal 1 car park C and Terminal 2 short term.

Terminal 1 car park A: This car parking is one of the most easily accessible from the terminals and is located only two minute’s walk away from both of the terminals. You can book your space online on the basis of first come served. There is a total of 450 car park spaces at a time.

Terminal 1 car park C: This car park is also located at the closest proximity to both terminals which is around 2-minute walkway from the terminal and around 5-minute walkway from terminal 2. Terminal 1 car park c is multi-storey short-term parking which is having 1500 spaces of a car park at a time.

Terminal 2 short-term car park: This car parking is located just 2 minute walkway from terminal 2. Around 1800 car park space is available at a time which is also available through online booking. Book your space in advance because this is the busiest car parking due to its proximity and the facilities available there.

Price for short-term car parking: Customers can park their vehicles on a daily basis and the rate charged per day is €40.00 per day. There is an option to park there on an hourly basis where €3.00 is charged for the first hour and €4.00 for the next per hour.

Valet Parking: Valet Parking service is also available at the airport. You also receive complimentary services, such as window cleaning and interior vacuuming, and luggage assistance.

Luggage Wrapping: Luggage wrapping services are available at the airport. Bags are wrapped in plastic to protect them from damage and theft. It is located in both terminals.

Luggage Trolleys/Carts: Luggage carts are available at the airport. These can be found in both terminals.

Porter Services: Porter services are not available at the airport.

There is a Baggage Claim facility available at the airport.

The East Lounge: The lounge is located on the airside of Terminals 1 and 2. Access to the lounge is through paying at the door.

Aer Lingus Lounge: The lounge is located on the airside of Terminal 2.

Aer Lingus Revival Lounge: The lounge is located on the airside of Terminal 2.

Etihad Airways First & Business Class Lounge: The lounge is located in the airside of Terminal 2.

Stores and Duty-Free Shopping

Currency Exchange: The currency used in Ireland is Euro (EUR or €). Currency exchange facilities are available at the airport. The service is operated by International Currency Exchange (ICE). These are located in the airside of Terminals 1 and 2, and Baggage Claim areas.

Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport: The hotel is located less than five minutes of walking distance from the airport terminals. There is also a 24-hour courtesy airport shuttle service available. Pick-up is in Zone 8 of T1. From T2, go to the right-hand side of the arrivals exit door.

Radisson Blu Hotel Dublin Airport: The hotel is located less than five minutes of walking distance from the airport terminals. There is a courtesy airport shuttle service available at a frequency of 15 minutes from 05:00 till 24:00 hours. Pick-up is in the coach park Zone 8 of T1. In T2, the shuttle pick-up point is at the first exit on the right-hand side (look for the US Airlines check-in desks).

Carlton Hotel: The hotel is located less than five minutes from the airport. There is a courtesy airport shuttle service available from the hotel to the airport in an hour and half-hour. From the airport to the hotel, the shuttle leaves every quarter-hour and quarter-to-the-hour, 24 hours a day. Shuttle pick-up for both terminals is located in Zone 16.

Premier Inn: The hotel is located less than five minutes from the airport. There is a shuttle service available from Zone 16 in the center concourse at a frequency of 30 minutes from 04:30 till 23:00 hours. A hotel shuttle can cost around €2 per person for a one-way trip.

Holiday Inn Express Dublin Airport: The hotel is located less than ten minutes from the airport. There is a courtesy shuttle bus available at a frequency of 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Pick-up is from the coach park Zone 16.

Ground Transport Options To and From Dublin Airport

Getting to and from Dublin Airport should not be much of a hassle as you will find transport options. You can quickly find a convenient mode of transportation to meet your travel needs. There are several ground transportation options available to travelers that make visiting nearby places and other places of interest very convenient, quick, and affordable.
