Keflavik Airport and Reykjavik Airport (RKV) are two different airports in Iceland. While Keflavik Airport mainly serves international destinations, Reykjavik Airport, on the other hand, only serves domestic flights.

Operation Hours: Keflavik International Airport is open 24 hours. However, certain shops, food concessions, on-site accommodations, and public and private transport services may not offer services throughout the day and night. Keflavik International Airport

Keflavik Airport has a single terminal called Leif Erikson Air Terminal. It has two levels for departures and arrivals.

Luggage Lockers:
Lockers and luggage storage facilities are available at the airport. Fees for standard-sized luggage cost around ISK 2000 ($14.26 USD) per day; ISK 1000 ($7.13 USD) per day, for up to one week; ISK 500 ($3.56 USD) per day after the first week. Fees are applicable for items such as bicycles, instruments, etc. The facility is located about 500 meters from the terminal’s Departure area, between Enterprise and Avis car rental stations. You can take a bus which departs at a frequency of 15 minutes.

Luggage Wrapping:
Luggage wrapping services are not available at the airport.

Luggage Trolleys/Carts:
Luggage carts are available at the airport. These can be found throughout the terminal.

Porter Services:
Porter’s services are not available at the airport.

There is a Baggage Claim facility available at the airport. Make sure to check with your respective airline as to what carry-on items (and their size) are allowed.

Lounge and Business Conference Room

At Keflavik Airport, passengers can use public lounges, VIP lounges, and business conference rooms, which may be available for free or paid in order to access these facilities.

Hotel Keflavik:
The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport. It is a free, scheduled shuttle service available from the hotel to the airport only. The hotel suggests a taxi from the airport.

Hotel Berg:
The hotel is located about 7 minutes from the airport. There is a 24-hour airport shuttle available for free.

Ground Transport Options To and From Keflavik International Airport

Keflavik International Airport is not connected to train or metro transport systems.
