Operation Hours: Portland International Airport is open 24 hours. However, certain shops, food concessions, on-site accommodations, and public and private transport services may not offer services throughout the day and night. About Airport’s Terminal

Portland International Airport has a main terminal that is divided into two sections, namely the North and South Terminals. The terminal further consists of Concourses A, B, C, D, and E inter-connected via a long hallway connector in the security area. The walkway connector also helps in reducing long queues at the checkpoints. Concourses B (Gates B1-B2) and C (Gates C1-C23) are located in the South Terminal, while Concourses D (Gates D1-D15) and E (Gates E1-E13) are located in the North Terminal.

Economy Parking: Economy parking is available for customers who go for a long vacation and want to park at cheaper rates. This parking is basically cheaper than the other parking lot but the farthest from the terminal.

  • The largest parking lot has the ability of parking around 7900 vehicles at a time.
  • A free shuttle is available from the early morning at every 7 to 9 minutes and from midnight, it is available every 15 minutes till 4 A.M.
  • This parking has also a reserved area for the handicapped person.
  • Flat tire assistance is also available there and it makes available by the parking staff.
  • The best thing about this parking, is there is no cost on the seventh day. It is free of cost if you need to park for more than 7 days.

Valet Parking: Valet Parking service is also available at the airport. You also receive complimentary services, such as window cleaning and interior vacuuming, and luggage assistance.

Luggage Wrapping: Luggage wrapping services at the airport. Bags are wrapped in plastic to protect them from damage and theft. It is located in both terminals.

Luggage Trolleys/Carts: Smart Cart luggage carts are available at the airport. These can be found in both the North and South Terminals.

Porter Services: Porter services are not available at the airport.

There is a Baggage Claim facility available at the airport.

Lounge and Business Conference Room

Children’s Play Area: The airport offers play zones for children. One is located on the airside of Concourse C, near Gate C17, while the other is located on the airside of Concourse D, near Gate D7.

Nursing Room: There are two Nursing Mother lactation rooms located near Capers Cafe, near South Lobby, and another in Concourse D, near Gate D2.

Pharmacy: There is a pharmacy available at the airport that is operated by Providence Express Care. Passengers can purchase over-the-counter (OTC) medications. The pharmacy also provides the facility of teleconferencing with a physician if you seek medical care. The airport pharmacy is located on the airside of the South Lobby and is open from 05:00 to 21:00 hours.

Mini-movie Theatre: There is a small seventeen-seater cinema theatre at the airport that is operated by the Hollywood Theatre. Only short, fifteen-minute local films are shown and mostly based on the Pacific Northwest, instead of an hour-and-a-half-long standard Hollywood picture. It is free and should help you kill idle time. It is located after security, Concourse C, near Gate C5.

Mail Drop: The airport offers mailboxes where passengers can drop last-minute postcards and letters to their family, relatives, and friends.
