Azul Airline provides extra care & special services for their passengers who need special assistance at the airport or in the aircraft.

  • Passengers with Disabilities – While booking the ticket inform Azul Airline simply select the option “special services” in the section and provide requested information for the special assistance that you need.
  • Hearing Impaired Passengers 
  • Service Dog- According to the Airline rule Dog noseband or leash is a must. The dog must be vaccinated by a veterinarian, and have to present proof of an updated vaccination card. 
  • Wheelchairs Stroller – Passengers with wheelchairs, can inform the check-in staff of Azul Airlines and take all the required assistance.
  • Elderly Passengers –  Azul Airline is always there to assist senior citizens whenever they need assistance.
  • Expectant Mothers – Expecting mothers between the 29th and 37th week of pregnancy have to provide the doctor’s letter of authorization before flying. Expecting women starting the 38th week of pregnancy may only travel with a doctor. The expectant mother is recommended by Aual Airline not to fly 7 days before and 7 days after delivery
  • Unaccompanied Minor – Children below the age of 16 are not allowed to travel outside the residing country unaccompanied by their parents or legal guardians. They need to have a granted Judicial authorization as per the new boarding rule written in Law 13812 of 2019. Children under the age of 16 have to present an authorization letter and a valid passport to travel as unaccompanied minors
  • Lap – For the passengers with children of age unto 2 years can  travel on the lap of parents or their legal guardian and no fee is charged by the airline
  • Pet Inside the Cabin – There is a fee charged to carry a pet on the flight. The pet’s total weight should not exceed 5 kg (animal + crate). The pet container size and type must be according to the pate carrying container rule, with enough opening for air circulation and with dimensions 43cm length 31.5 cm width and 20cm height
