However, certain shops, food concessions, on-site accommodations, and public and private transport services may not offer services throughout the day and night. Don Mueang International Airport

Don Mueang International Airport has two terminals, namely Terminal 1 serving international flights, and Terminal 2 serving domestic flights.

Travelers can easily find various amenities, such as information desks, lounges, ATMs, conference rooms for business travelers, newsagents, courtesy telephones, restaurants, restrooms, facilities for handicapped passengers, retail shopping outlets, ticket counters, baggage claim, and locker facilities, gift shops, transportation, car park and more at the airport.

On-site and Off-site Parking Options

Don Mueang International Airport offers convenient and affordable parking options to travelers. On both Terminals, you will be able to have the facility of Parking. One can choose from on-site parking options, off-site car parks, and garages that are located in the nearest proximity to the airport. These consist of short and long-term parking. A 7-story car park is located in Terminal 2 and another 3-story car park is located in the Old Domestic Building.

Free parking at the airport is only offered for a limited period.

Luggage Lockers: Lockers and luggage storage facilities are available at the airport. Luggage can be stored for up to 4 months in the airport’s luggage storage facility. Fees can cost around 75 Baht ($2.42 USD) per bag if stored for less than 24 hours, and 38 Baht ($1.22 USD) for up to 12 hours after or every 12 hours thereafter. Payment can be due upon retrieval of the luggage you stored. It is located on the landside of Terminal 2, on the 1st Floor.

Luggage Wrapping: Luggage wrapping services are available at the airport. Bags are wrapped in plastic to protect them from damage and theft. It is located on the landside of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, on the 3rd Floor. Fees cost around 150 Baht ($4.83 USD).

Luggage Trolleys/Carts: Luggage carts are available at the airport. These can be found in both Terminals.

Porter Services: Porter services are not available at the airport.

There is a Baggage Claim facility available at the airport. Make sure to check with your respective airline as to what carry-on items (and their size) are allowed.

Lounge and Business Conference Rooms

At Don Mueang International Airport, passengers can use public lounges, VIP lounges, and business conference rooms, which may be available for free or paid in order to access these facilities.

Coral Executive Lounge:

Duty-Free stores are also available at the airport that sells all kinds of merchandise, including souvenirs. These are located in International Terminal 1, Departures, 1st Floor. Some are open 24 hours.

Finding snack and beverage options should not be a problem as there are many local and popular nationwide food chains at Don Mueang International Airport. These cafeterias and restaurants are located throughout the terminals and concourses, giving you the best options to eat and satisfy your pre-flight craving.

Food concessions throughout the airport have been operated with varying schedules. A wide variety of dining options are also available and can be found at both the landside and the airside. These include:

Also, there are seven locations of 7/Eleven available in both Terminals, which are open 24 hours.

Prayer rooms are available at the airport. A Muslim prayer room is located in Terminal 2, on the 3rd Floor, near the connecting walkway to Terminal 1. Also, the Sanghas and Samaneras Lounges are available specifically for monks. These are located on the 3rd Floor, Terminal 2.

The airport provides children’s play zones. These are located in the airside of Domestic Departures, 3rd Floor; and also in International Departures, 3rd Floor.

Express Spa Body and Massage offers a relaxing pre-flight massage service. It is located in International Terminal 1, 3rd Floor, Pier 2. It is open 24 hours. In addition, the airport also offers five Massage Shops offering service from 7 am to 12 am. These are located in the airside of both Terminals.

Medical Services:

Clinics are available at the airport which offer urgent and emergency medical care to passengers. These are located in Terminal 1, on the 1st Floor, and landside of Terminal 2, Arrivals Hall, on the 1st Floor. They are open from 8 am to 5 pm. Also, there is a Medical Center by Samitivej Hospital located on Terminal 1, on the 3rd Floor, and Terminal 2, opposite the Public Relations Counter.

Pharmacy:

Pharmacies are available at the airport. These are located on the airside of Terminal 1 (open 24 hours); Terminal 2, on the 2nd Floor, Gate 15; the airside of Terminal 2 (open from 4:30 am till 9:30 pm); Terminal 2, on the 2nd Floor (open from 4:30 am till 9:30 pm).

Postal Services:

There are postal services available at the airport that provide postage and money order. These are located on the 3rd Floor, Departures Lounge, north of Terminal 1; and landside of Terminal 2, 3rd Floor.

Public Telephones:

There are public telephones provided to passengers at the airport. These can be found at both Terminals.

ATM:

ATMs are available at the airport. You can swipe your bank card and withdraw cash at the airport’s ATMs if you’re running low on cash or need to make cash payments at other services or stores. You can find ATMs located at the airside and landside areas of both Terminals.

Currency Exchange:

The currency used in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). Currency exchange kiosks are located in Tier 1 Arrivals Halls (landside and airside); Tier 3 International Arrivals (airside) and on3rd Floor, hallway outbound (north and south side).

Banking Services:

Banking facilities are available at the airport. Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank (K bank), Krungthai Bank, and Siam Bank offer full-service banking services at the airport. These banks have their branches located in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, except Siam Bank, which only has a location in Terminal 2. Their hours vary, however, some are open from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Monday-Friday).

Amari Don Mueang Airport Hotel:
This on-site hotel is connected via a walkway. The walking distance from the airport to the hotel is just 5 minutes. Also, there is a pre-arranged one-way airport transfer that is provided on request by the hotel for 200 baht ($6.44 USD). Rooms are available from 8 am to 6 pm for THB 1,200 ($38.67 USD).

Take a Rest Don Mueang Residence:
The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport. There is no shuttle service from the airport is available for their customers.

Montri Resort and Spa:

The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel can also arrange a one-way taxi transfer to the airport for a fee.

Ground Transport Options To and From Don Mueang International Airport

Getting to and from Don Mueang International Airport should not be much of a hassle as you will find transport options. Bus Service

Public bus transportation services are available for the commute. It is both affordable and convenient and can get you to places in no time. BMTA, LIMO bus, and Public Bus ferry passengers to and from Don Mueang International Airport. Their stands are located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

In addition, Public Van BMTA No. 555 is located in the parking area.

Train and Metro Services

Train services are available to and from Don Mueang International Airport. The Don Mueang train station is located about 500 meters of walking distance from the airport. The train station is connected via an overpass from the 2nd Floor of Terminal 1.
