Guatemala City in Guatemala is served by La Aurora International Airport, which is basically the main airport in the region. It is sometimes, also called the Guatemala City Airport and is situated in Zone 13, which is the southern part of the city.

A few hotels may offer transportation services from the airport, and there are quite a lot of shuttles into Guatemala City and Antigua for the duration of the day. Operation Hours: The airport is open 24 hours. However, certain food concessions, transportation, and other facilities may not offer their services 24 hours. Guatemala City Airport Terminal

Guatemala Airport features a single-passenger terminal with two concourses, one in the north and one in the south. The Northern concourse has 15 boarding gates, whilst the Central concourse has 4 to 6 gates, depending on the size of the aircraft. Because it is Guatemala’s principal international gateway, the airport serves both international and domestic aircraft. Because they are under the same roof, the terminals are linked.

Short-Term & Long-Term Parking

The official Guatemala City Airport parking complex is directly across from the terminal building and provides convenient access. It is divided into three levels, with the first two providing covered parking and the third providing outdoor parking. The main lot is an excellent choice for long-term or short-term parking because of its safety and convenience.

GUA charges Q20 (about 2.50 USD) for stays of up to 16 hours. The maximum daily parking cost is then applied, which is Q100 per day (about $12.80 USD).

This lounge is, however, allows access to passengers traveling on Copa Airlines and United Airlines flights.
  • Los Anejos Business Lounge:
    You can access the lounge via a lounge membership pass. It is located between Gates 6 and 7, North Wing, airside at the International Terminal.

ATM

ATMs are available at Guatemala City Airport. You can swipe your bank card and withdraw cash at the airport’s ATM if you’re running low on cash or need to make cash payments at other services or stores. You can find ATMs located in the landside area on both the First and Third Floors in the Arrivals Hall.
