Brief Overview of Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia
Situated in the city of Khimki, less than 20 km from the northwest of central Moscow, lies the Sheremetyevo International Airport. It is the most massive and busiest airport in Russia. The airport recently was renamed Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport, although its original name is still used extensively.
It used to be a military airfield for the Soviet Air Force before turning into a commercial airport in 1959.

Airport Terminals
Sheremetyevo International Airport has a total of five terminals, namely Terminals A, B, C, D, E, and F. It has North and South complexes. The North Complex consists of Terminals A (private jets) and B (Domestic flights). The South Complex consists of Terminals D, E, and F, and homes most global flights. The two complexes are about 10 minutes apart and are connected by using an underground train. A new Terminal C opened in January 2020

The hotel is located about 3 minutes from the airport, within walking distance from Terminals D, E, and F. There is a free shuttle service offered, which is shared with Radisson Blu and operates at a frequency of 30 minutes between the hotel and Terminals D, E, and F.
Novotel Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport:
The hotel is located just 5 minutes of walking distance from Terminal 2. There is a free shuttle bus available to and from Terminals D, E, and F every 20 minutes (6 am to 10 pm) and every 30 minutes (10 pm to 6 am). Shuttle buses to and from Terminals B and C are also available hourly and upon request.
