About SYD Airport’s Terminal

Sydney Airport has a total of three passenger terminals, Terminal 1 (T1), Terminal 2 (T2), and Terminal 3 (T3). While Terminal 1 handles all international destinations, Terminals 2 and 3 handle domestic destinations only. Their offices are located in T1, Arrivals, opposite Blooming Trails Florist; and in T2, Arrivals, near Carousel 6.

Luggage Wrapping: Luggage wrapping services are available at the airport. The service is operated by Secure Travel. It is located on the landside of T1, near Check-ins D and H.

Luggage Trolleys/Carts: Self-service luggage carts are available at the airport for a fee of $4 AUD per cart. These can be found in the Baggage Claim area. Smaller trolleys are available for free.

Porter Services: Porter services are not available at the airport.

Qantas Club: The lounge is located airside of T3, near Gate 10. Access to the lounge is through using membership programs.

SkyTeam Lounge: The lounge is operated by Plaza Premium and is located in the airside of T1, International Departures, near Gate 24. Access to the lounge is by paying at the door.

Virgin Australia Lounge: The lounge is located on the airside of T2, near Gate 47. Access to the lounge is by paying at the door along with proof of a Virgin Australia Airlines ticket or using lounge membership programs.

Shuttle transfers are provided by Super Shuttle service, which costs a one-way fare of around $8.50 AUD per person. Shuttles operate daily, from 05:00 to 23:00 hours. There are designated pick-ups at each terminal. Reservation is not required.

Ibis Budget Sydney Airport: The hotel is located less than 10 minutes of walking distance from the Domestic Terminal. There is an airport shuttle transfer available daily, at a frequency of 30 minutes from 05:00 to till23:00 hours. A one-way fare can cost around $7 AUD per person. Pick up area is between T2 and T3 (Bay 4), and also at the International Terminal (Bay 12).

Rydges Sydney Airport: The hotel is located across from T1. There is a courtesy shuttle transfer service available to the terminal daily from 05:00 to till22:45 hours, either the Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel shuttle or the Sydney Airport TBus service, depending on the time.

Citadines Connect Sydney Airport: The hotel is located about 15 minutes of walking distance from the Domestic Terminal. Shuttle transfers are available and the service is provided by Super Shuttle service. A one-way fare can cost around $8.50 AUD per person.

Ground Transport Options To and From Sydney Airport
