Points to Remember Before Carrying Your Baggage in Aegean

• Any passengers who are traveling with Aegean Airlines are allowed to carry a maximum of five items or bags including your pets, sports items, and musical instruments.
• If you are traveling with a codeshare flight then you have to purchase your additional baggage from the partner airlines. In that case, rates for the baggage are charged by the partner airlines.
• If you have any issues related to the baggage policy on the codeshare flight which is operated by the partner airlines then you can check their respective terms and conditions on their website or contact them directly.
• In case you have paid for your baggage and then cancel your flight then your baggage amount will not refund in your account.
• Refunds are only possible if your flight is canceled by itself due to any technical faults or your flight is charged due to cancellation or delays.
• If your baggage is lost then Airline determines the reasons and tries to find your baggage otherwise they are liable to pay for the loss of your baggage.
• All the rules and terms according to the Aegean Airlines baggage policy which is given below, apply only on the flights operated by the Aegean and Olympic Aircraft.
• The baggage policy for flights to/from Saudi Arabia is different from other destinations. For economy class, you are allowed only one piece up to 30kg and in business class, you are allowed 2 pieces up to 20kg each.

Cabin Baggage 

Aegean Economic Class Cabin Baggage Policy

If you are flying in Aegean economic class, you are entitled to travel for free:

A piece of a carry-on bag with the following details:-

• No more than 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm in dimensions (including handles, pockets, and wheels).
• Not to exceed 8 kg in weight.
• For flights operated with the Olympic Air Fleet (Bombardier-type DH8-100, DH8-400, and ATR), your bag should not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm and 8 kg.
• Fit into our luggage.
• Fit in the overhead bin and can be lifted by a passenger.
• Do not include dangerous goods unless permitted to drive.
• Large enough for any duty-free or airport purchase.

Aegean Business Class Cabin Baggage Policy

You are allowed to take Aegean Airlines for free.

Two (2) carry-on bags that should be:

• Dimensions not exceeding 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm and 45 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm respectively (including handles, pockets and wheels).
• No more than 8kg and 5kg weight respectively (instead of 5kg bag, you can optionally carry 1 cloth bag up to 20 cm when folded).
• Fit in our size.
• Fit in the overhead bin and can be lifted by the passenger.
• Do not include dangerous goods unless permitted to drive.
• Large enough for any duty-free or airport purchase.

You want to carry only one carry-on bag instead of 2 (two), but it should be described:

Aegean Airlines Checked Baggage Policy

Aegean checked baggage allowance, dimensions and fees may vary depending on your booking ticket.

Please check the specific baggage information on either the AIN website or your booking before each flight.

Note* 158 cm is the total sum of the length, width, and height.

Aegean Airlines Infant Baggage Policy

Infant Cabin Baggage

Infants traveling with Aegean Airlines (0-2 years old) are allowed to carry 1 piece of cabin luggage above 6 kg with maximum dimensions of 55 cm * 40 cm * 23 cm, food for travel and necessary Will be enough to carry items.

If the infant has its seat, an infant car seat (maximum dimensions of base 40 cm x 40 cm) or a collapsible stroller or carries coat is required. The cabin luggage allocation for children with Aegean Airlines is the same for adults and applies to the travel class booked (economy or business class)

If the infant requires a special car seat (maximum size of base 40 cm x 40 cm) to ride in his or her seat, there is no extra fee.

Infants checked baggage

Light & Flex

Infants (0 – 2 years old) are required to use a collapsible stroller.

Comfort Flex & Business

Children (2 – 12 years) are allowed to hold 1 piece of up to 23 kg and 158 cm (economy class) or 2 pieces (business class) of goods up to 32 kg and 158 cm. The same rules are applied to infants who are 0 to 2 years old.

GoLight and Flex and Business:

Children over 2 years of age are allowed to free 1 colapsible stroller if necessary for travel.

Note:- Any checked baggage weighing more than 23 kilograms and up to 32 kilograms is considered overweight. Goods weighing more than 32 kilograms can only be accepted as cargo.

Aegean Airlines Extra baggage and overweight baggage allowance

In addition to your free Aegean baggage allowance, if you want to carry more luggage with you, Aegean additional baggage fees will be added to your booking ticket, for example, if you have a GoLight ticket, the first piece of luggage. If you cannot locate your luggage upon your arrival, you must immediately report it to the AEGEAN Baggage Services Office before exiting the airport. Your baggage details will be entered into the worldwide baggage system (WorldTresser) and you will be provided with a file reference ID. Please refer to the file locator provided in all communications regarding your delayed baggage.

Restricted Goods

It is always better to honor any airline restrictions on carrying hazardous materials and substances, which can cause irreparable damage to your own health and safety and that of your fellow passengers.

Prohibited ingredients and substances include:

• Any chemical or toxic substance, such as acids and bases, corrosive or bleaching substances, sprays, radioactive substances, inactivating or neutralizing poisons.
• Infectious or biohazardous products e.g. Blood, bacteria, and viruses polluted.
• Any explosive or flammable substance that could endanger the health of passengers and crew or the general safety of the aircraft or personal belongings being carried on board.
