In economy space, you can choose a seat among, window, aisle, or extra legroom seats. Also, you can bid and reserve up to 3 neighboring seats with economy neighbor-free seats. There are different types of available seats which are specified below:
Economy Standard. This is for passengers who travel on an Economy deal, classic fare, or saver. They get the benefit of seat selection from the time of their flight booking. The online check-in is also open for them to reserve their seat for free an hour prior to the flight departure. Those who are Etihad Guest member can save 20% on selected seats. They can reserve their seats by going through managed booking, also via check-in online, or even at the airport.

Economy neighbor-free. On the roof of this option, the airline is letting the passengers get triple space and comfort by asking for up to 3 neighboring seats while flying. There is a time limit of six hours prior to departure that you can change or cancel the bid up.

Etihad Airways ticket cancel/return policy
You can cancel the flight within 24 hours of your booking. And the refund will be credited to the same account that you have done your booking initially. You can continue to cancel or change your flight online. To do so, you are required to go to the homepage and open Manage My Booking tab. You can make changes up to 2 hours prior to your flight.
