1. Kumbh Mela Haridwar

Kumbh Mela in Nashik also known as Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha is a very auspicious fair that is either held when Sun and Jupiter are in Leo during the Hindu month of Bhadrapada (August-September). In that time devotees come and take a dip in the holy water of Godavari River at the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple and RamKund in Nashik. Doing that people believe they get rid of their sins and helps them in attaining moksha.

4. Kumbh Mela Ujjain

Ujjain is known as the city of temples, situated along the Kshipra river. The temple city gets most of its religious importance from the Shri Mahakaleshwar temple. Ujjain is one of the 4 places where Kumbh Mela is held. Kumbh that is known as Ujjain Simhastha commences when Jupiter is in Leo and Sun is in Aries, or when all three are in Libra during the Hindu month of Vaisakha (April-May).
