Excess baggage

When traveling with Finnair, you can add extra bags to your flight up to three hours before departure, and a maximum of three additional bags can be added. Extra bags still apply to the maximum dimensions, and a piece of checked baggage must not exceed the maximum weight allowance of 23 kg. Excess/Heavy Baggage

If your luggage exceeds Finnair’s baggage limits, excess baggage fees will apply. Airport Charges For Checked Baggage

If you are traveling on a Finnair-operated flight but your ticket has been issued by another airline, or your itinerary includes flights operated by another airline, please pay for your extra baggage at the airport. The price for your extra baggage is determined by the carrier.

If your ticket includes flights from other airlines, MSMC’s International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards define the airline baggage regulations that apply to those flights.
